Again I apologize for my hasty slapping together the code for
maintaining a "simple" table. :)

I'm sure that most of us don't do that in real life.

BTW, I forgot where the word "simple" came into play.  Was it that the
table was simple, or programming for it was simple? ;-)

Please don't be overwhelmed by the fact that there are over 100 source
members (actually I think it's more like 80) to maintain a "simple"
table.  In my application design there are hundreds of tables and ALL of
them use the same /COPY members that you see.  So, each of the hundreds
of table WRK, ADD, EDT, DSP, LST functions have about a >60% code reuse
(that includes the skeleton programs that they were generated from). 
With the two tables presented to you I had to include what the other 198
use.

Write once, use everywhere. ;)

Actually that is the behavior I would expect.  IMO, a 5250 display file
"window" should be a separate, what do you call it? window? Ya that's
it, window!

I'm no expert on Java, from which I understand is what your
"revitalization" tool uses, but if I eliminated the INDARA keyword from
my display files, which AFAIK would result in named fields being passed
back and forth for the indicators, could you use that information to use
getfocus?
