Does the remote locations use the same WINS configuration as the local
subnet? If not, change them and you will be able to see all in the Network
Neighborhood. Also is netserver configured with your WINS server? The run
to option should work if you can resolve the name. IP address also works.

Subject: Netserver over a wan

Hello all,

I have just brought up our corporate WAN. It is a T1 over a Frame Relay. I
can ping my AS/400 and can start 5250 sessions. My problem is Netserver. I
cannot see the AS/400 in Network Neighborhood. The remote location is on a
different subnet than our AS/400 and is not an NT Domain but just a
workgroup. (Only 3 computers in this locale). Is it possible for Netserver
to span subnets? If so, what must I add in order for this to work.

Thanks,

Mark
