RE: Printing to a twin-ax printer on another AS/400

Migration Data Link Controller. We *tried* to use one for a S38-->AS400
migration. What a joke, the thing was just too slow. We ended up driving
back to the office (>100 miles) to borrow our external 1/2" tape drive.
After that, it was an easy load-n-go migration.

Kind of my thoughts also.  But, wasn't there some goofy product marketed by
IBM for migrating data from a S/36 to a 400 which twinaxed the two machines
together?

Bob,

Can you elaborate on how the AS/400's are physically attached?  I.e. what
does the twinax cable plug into?  Perhaps I'm wrong, but I don't believe
you
can just link 2 twinax controllers from different 400's and have them
communicate.
