If you still don't want to have a PC involved, I think this might work:
It's a little kludgey...
A lot of printers have an infrared port. Point the Palm at the printer
and print whatever you want to send to your favorite
System/38/ApplicationServer/400/e(logo)Server/iSeries system.
Then just use an OCR scanner attached through your keyboard
to key the data directly into whatever midrange application you choose.
