In your situation (restore to a new library) I would guess that the missing
objects are logicals pointing to physical files in a different library.

The way messages work on the 400 is like this:
(diagnostic) Object FILEA not restored to NEWLIB
(escape) All objects not restored to NEWLIB. 12104 of 12108 objects
restored.

Don't focus on the escape message - that's just saying "This process didn't
go the way you planned!"  Search prior to the escape message in the job log;
look for the diagnostic messages. They'll have the real poop.

I generally point people to the iSeries web site and tell them to take the
Library link: http://www.iseries.ibm.com

Good luck!
