Man I wish I understood how to carry through the SNTP.  I've got Simon's 
original clock display program and modified it to make any AS/400 into a 
really expensive digital watch (watch band not included) but i want to add 
in the function of checking and fixing the time.

Anyone that feels an urge is more than welcome to take the program and add 
the time-synching utility to it and post it on any sites that are 
appropriate.

Booth,
I have done some preliminary searches (Check the archives) and found that 
IBM will provide SNTP (Simple Network Time Protocol) for the AS400, but it 

is an unsupported product. You get the software, and the source, and some 
documentation I believe. I have yet to follow through on the deal.

The AS400 SNTP can then talk to any NTP server on your network or the 
internet to sync the time. Again, I haven't yet got the software to test.
