Which is just another (simple) way of getting the screen redisplayed.  My point
was that a format already displayed would not dynamically change unless you were
to loop over devices doing a vary off/on.  From the message subject I wasn't
sure if that was clear.

I hadn't looked at the attached source to see that MSGCON had been used.
