I personally use RPG for my CGI programming.  Real time access, very fast,
and very easy HTTP server configuration.  Also, almost no learning curve if
you're an RPG programmers.  But then again, I'm biased.  ;)

I'm tinkering with Java right now.  The worst part, setting up Websphere.
*shudder*.  The second worst part, trying to sort out all the different
ideas of "how" to program in Java.  RPGers argue over the logic cycle.  Java
programmers have a lot more to argue about.  :)  (that's a good thing?)
