RE: Password Validation API

I don't know of any API which will verify a user ID/password. Maybe someone
else does. However, I have an API (TNAPI) which you can call to perform
interactive functions in batch. You could use it to try signing on with the
user ID and password. Kind of kludgy but it would work.

        the problem is that it verifies a password against the user profile

        person who has signed on - not just that it is valid. Hence, the

        an API that would pass a different user profile ID to what I was
hoping
        would be the CHKPWD command. Guess I left that out of the first
message.
