Evan, Thanks for your suggestion. I think you might be referring to the CHKPWD command Al Barsa recommended. That will be great for re-verifying the user who signed on. We do that at times. But, the problem is that it verifies a password against the user profile of the person who has signed on - not just that it is valid. Hence, the need for an API that would pass a different user profile ID to what I was hoping would be the CHKPWD command. Guess I left that out of the first message.
