In the November 2000 Issue of Showcase Magazine, article "IBM's Frank Soltis, Uncensored", Frank confirms the rumors we've heard about Microsoft trying to get rid of it's 23 AS/400s. According to Frank, Microsoft planned to unplug its AS/400s and power up 1,200 NT servers it needed to replace them. But things didn't quite go as planned. "They found they couldn't make it work.
