I take it that you didn't try clicking on the errors in the Error List and
having the items in question pop up for correction.

Insert a group, then add all the formats that you want to work on into the
group, then go to the WYSIWYG display for the group.  The format that you're
currently modifying is in a pull-down list in the upper left, just make sure
you select the right one for the change you're doing.

I think most of the work needed is on your part to learn how to use the
product.  It's pretty clear that you're trying to learn it as you use it
rather than going through the tutorial or getting help from someone familiar
with it.  That's not necessarily a bad way to do it, but you need to realize
that you will have trouble finding even elementary things like the two
above, so disparaging the product because you can't quickly find them is a
bit ill-advised.  Even after 4 years, I'm still running into things that I
don't know how to do in MS Word 97 that I could do easily years ago in
WordPerfect 5.1 for DOS.  I never assume that it's not there just because I
have trouble finding it.
