The point Jon is making and you will ultimately have to accept, is that once
again, like DDS vs SQL, SEU is a _single_ platform issue, not a widely
accepted tool outside of the (ultimately dead) 400 platform.

Before the 400 dead platform flames begin... they changed the bus
architecture from SPD to PCI, they have AIX running on the power PC chip in
the 400 (PASE) so... ergo... utimately, commodity hardware platforming.  In
this light, one platform (not proprietary 400) and multiple operating
systems (Linux, OS/400, AIX, NT...)

just a casual observation based on past performance...  purely conjecture...
my opinion may not reflect those of my employer... (oops, that's me, tee
hee!)
