I am using Outlook97 and the filtering allows me to filter by From:, To: or Subject: but I can not find a filter based on the Reply to: address. I am using the To: but have a number of rules to catch the many ways that people address the list. It seems to go off the wording in the To: part (like ML, or The List, and a few others that seem to be common) and not the actual address that it was sent to (MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com <mailto:MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> ). David, Is there anyway that you could have the To: header changed to something standard (different ones for each list) before being re-broadcast? This would allow us [that can't use the reply to:] to use one rule that would catch them all. The best header to filter on is the REPLY-TO directive. It will usually be the list address. The only address this does not apply to in the MIDRANGE-JOBS list. david +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
