Joe,

Upgrade to Outlook 2000. It handles putting everything from Midrange-L into
a folder. I am not sure what header it is keying on, but the rule I use is
"move messages from owner-midrange-l@midrange.com into Midrange List (a
folder)". Works great.

I use similar rules for other lists I am on.

I am using Outlook97 and the filtering allows me to filter by From:, To: or
Subject: but I can not find a filter based on the Reply to: address.
I am using the To: but have a number of rules to catch the many ways that
people address the list. It seems to go off the wording in the To: part
(like ML, or The List, and a few others that seem to be common) and not the
actual address that it was sent to (MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com
<mailto:MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com> ).

David,

Is there anyway that you could have the To: header changed to something
standard (different ones for each list) before being re-broadcast? This
would allow us [that can't use the reply to:] to use one rule that would
catch them all.
