Thanks Pamela. I was using *HP4 for manufacturer type and model, but I'll check the emulation and see what else I can use. I'll check with Konica for the RMTPRTQ value. I'll let you know how I go. You'll still need the appropriate RMTPRTQ value, which is specific to your printer. The document I've got says to contact your vendor to find out what value to use when sending spooled files using LPR/LPD. As for the manufacturer type and model, check what other printers your Konica can emulate, and see if any of them turn up on the list. If you're not planning to do anthing fancy, you could simply try using something relatively generic like *HPIII. +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +--- ______________________________________________________________________ This document should only be read by those persons to whom it is addressed and is not intended to be relied upon by any other person.
