I have been using Aironet/Cisco wireless access points and wireless bridges
with great success. I have three buildings bridged together running at 11
Mbps. The longest distance that I am going is about 1/4 mile but with
directional attennas you are supposed to be able to go 20 miles. The
bridges are about $1600 each and antennas about $100. They are very easy
to configure using a web browser and pretty much plug and play. For
wireless around and in your building the access points are about half that
price and work great. Feel free to call me if you have more questions.
