The release of Client Express is v4r4 (this is opposed to Client Access
95/NT). V4R4 is not needed as the AS/400 Operating System, however, some of
the features are not available until you do move to v4r4 of the AS/400
Operating System.

The problem moving to Client Express - your Network SignOn and Password need
to be that same as your AS/400 SignOn and Password - if you are checking for
current PTF's on the AS/400 to update the Client Software.

Regards,

Jerry

Matthias,

It is my understanding that Client Access Express only shipped with V4R4 of
OS/400. You would have to do an OS release upgrade to get it seeing that
you are at V4R3 currently.

When you order your OS/400 upgrade you should get Client Access Express if
you have a license for Client Access at V4R3. Just make sure this is
understood by whomever takes your order.
