John, the article was interesting, and the AS/400 is not just another 
machine to me although I don't like to personalize computers (they don't 
like that you know).

But I just can't figure out why a number of 700,000 shipments over 10+ 
years is so exciting and makes it the "...world's most popular multi-user 
commercial business computer".   NT sales are in the millions and we know that 
an NT server license 
means at least one multi-user server.

Look at this.   I think you should send this post to every writer of every
magazine and ask why they haven't written something on it.    Just a
Thought.

On the other hand, If the AS/400 is just another computer to you,  ignore
this post.
