yeah, just like when a Microsoft sponsored 'independent' test showed
that NT was 3 times faster than Linux...

Now, it is correct (and good) that the AS/400 no longer is so slow
as it used to be (c.f. Phil Hall). Another interesting comparison is
to divide the benchmark throughput by the price of the system
to get messages/second/dollar.
