Yes,

You can do a lot of things to make the sessions unique.

GO to Configure 5250 from the Communication's menu in PC5250.. For the
workstation ID, you can type in special commands to generate the desired
workstation ID..

For example, my workstation id field is: &COMPN=
This creates the workstation id as my computer name and a number 1-9.
There are other directives you can use to specify A, B, C, D... so that
when
you do a run the same, it will generate a new workstation ID for you...

There are others, but I can't seem to find the handout from COMMON that
shows them.

Can anyone tell me if the support for naming sessions under TCP/IP extends
to
the automatic addition of A, B, C etc. to the session name to make them
unique
when multiple sessions are started from the same IP address ?  I have a
customer
whose only reason for staying with SNA is the need for this feature.  If it
is
not directly supported has anyone got any ideas on how to emulate/simulate
it?
