Client Access V3R2 has added this. It is also in Client
Access Express. We were in the same boat as you. BPCS
workstation data area's, invoicing members, and what not.
And SSA felt that it just had to prefix.
Funny thing was is that the flipping netstations had this
prior to Client Access. After this was fixed in Client
Access I see no need for SNA for Client Access anymore.

By the way, that was Client Access V3R2. Not OS/400 V3R2.

Subject: Naming of display sessions

Can anyone tell me if the support for naming sessions under TCP/IP extends to
the automatic addition of A, B, C etc. to the session name to make them unique
when multiple sessions are started from the same IP address ? I have a customer
whose only reason for staying with SNA is the need for this feature. If it is
not directly supported has anyone got any ideas on how to emulate/simulate it?
