With the current service pack for CA Express, you can set up the session
name so it appends a number by defining the session name ending in "=". My
session name is currently "LEMUR_=" and the names go from "LEMUR_1" to
whatever. Don't know what happens with the tenth session when your session
name is nine characters long, though. <g>

Subject: Naming of display sessions

Can anyone tell me if the support for naming sessions under TCP/IP extends
to
the automatic addition of A, B, C etc. to the session name to make them
unique
when multiple sessions are started from the same IP address ? I have a
customer
whose only reason for staying with SNA is the need for this feature. If it
is
not directly supported has anyone got any ideas on how to emulate/simulate
it?
