Re: Connection closed by remote host

We have customers that are doing a quasi edi by ftp.  
They do the RCMD to submit a job to gather info.  They 
quit.  They delay loop.  The log back in and do the get.  
It's all in their scripting.The reason they have to quit 
and log back in is because the 400 thinks you aren't 
doing anything, call's the ftp session inactive and thus 
closes it.  I thought the time was closer to 5 minutes.

I am calling a program using quote rcmd from my PC during an FTP Session and
after about a minute, it comes back with the message "Connection closed by
remote host" and the program either did not start or got some kind of error. 
How can I find out what the problem is?
