You are confusing Printer Emulator with Virtual
Printer. These are not the same.
Printer emulator means I want to print As/400 stuff
on the printer attached to my local printer.
Virtual Printer means I want to print PC stuff on a
printer attached to my AS/400.

S/400 Client Access Express for Windows (5769-XE1) is a licensed
program product. Some components require an AS/400 Client Access for Windows
(5769-XW1) license before you can use them.
The following components require a Client Access Express license:
. PC5250 Display and Printer Emulator
. Data Transfer
