Hi Jim, This is perfectly valid. When you create an ILE program using the CRTBNDCL and CRTBNDRPG commands the system actually creates an ILE module in QTEMP from your source and then does the equivalent of the CRTPGM command with the module to create your ILE program. The module is not required on the system for the ILE program to run. The other way you could do it is to create the module yourself (CRTCLMOD or CRTRPGMOD) and then create the ILE program (CRTPGM) - probably not worth it though.
