RE: AS/400 to Excel Data Transfer

Not sure what you mean by "automating", but if you want to initiate the
transfer from Excel use ODBC.  VBA in Office 97 on supports SQL statements
in the code.  If you are still on Office 95, use MS Query within an Excel
macro.

Hi Falks,

The present way of automating an AS/400 DB2 file to be transfered as an
Excel worksheet is using the IBM's Client Access. Is there any other way we
could have this done w/o using Client Access. For example, can we use
Rumba/400? Or is there any other way doing this?
