As I recall, Rumba allows you to download data into a CSV file, which Excel
likes. Just open it with Excel and save as XLS.

Subject: AS/400 to Excel Data Transfer

Hi Falks,

The present way of automating an AS/400 DB2 file to be transfered as an
Excel worksheet is using the IBM's Client Access. Is there any other way we
could have this done w/o using Client Access. For example, can we use
Rumba/400? Or is there any other way doing this?

Nimal.
