My favorite was a program to modify every program in a source file.  When we
converted from version 2 of BPCS to version 4, we had to remap many fields due
'container' logic in BPCS (among many other things).  Therefore, I wrote a
program to read every program in QRPGSRC , and change the field and file names.

This program was then used again during our Y2K conversion to 8 digit dates.
