Perhaps we should do something about it in this light.  I've got some ideas in
this area but don't want to chew up David's bandwidth.  If interested email me

BTW, 1Q numbers are looking pretty good from what I was told.

I wonder if COMMON  would publish the text of Bob's remarks in the next
news letter how much more emphasis might be put on his words since most of
the COMMON members were not at the opening session.  I would also like to
suggest that it should be published as a open letter to Lou in Midrange
Computing and News/400.  Maybe then IBM will get the hint.

I know they won't, but its nice to dream of a day when we might get some
respect from New York........  ; - )
