We just made an architecture decision today regarding our extranet/intranet
servers.......IBM AS/400.  And we will probably move our outsourced web site
(static, content only) to a provider who will do it on the AS/400.........

It was easy.

Forget IBM.

Recently I read an article that stated IBM's grow-the-market strategies are
being reserved for other IBM servers,
not the AS/400.  We are an AS/400 shop, soon to be implementing a web server
which I hoped would be an AS/400.  I am
disappointed and reluctant to use an AS/400 because it doesn't sound like it is
in line with IBM's long term  plans.

Any comments....
