Y2K Blues -- MIDRANGE-L

I see plenty of heads in the sand. I have a client who started a system
selection in the summer and is still benchmarking the final contender. I
can't figure out what they've done to process their transactions, because
the old software was definitely not y2k-ready. I can only guess they've
outsourced the whole accounting system to another company for a while (they
won't talk about it). 

In addition, yesterday (yes, Dec 15) a co-worker told me that he had just
received a signed agreement from a client for us to do some y2k testing!
