Well, one of my clients I warned back in May has decided there really IS a Y2K bogey man because he struck last week when they couldn't post any A/R transactions with January due dates. Of course, it must not be a terrible disaster. The controller who didn't want to spend any money letting me do a Y2K impact analysis went on her vacation this week as scheduled. Monday, we start the hard stuff. No way it'll be done by December 31 and I'm not giving up my Christmas and New Year's holidays for this client when they had so much warning. I'll do my best in the time available Monday thru Friday but their poor planning is not MY emergency. Talk about head in the sand....
