Gary, I have used the Multitech MT2834BLK successfully - I dont know how the spec for the BLK compares with the BA model. Anyhow, my modem is at home but I will e-mail switch settings etc later when I can check it. Maybe your modem is faulty, I had to return one modem to Multitech when first purchased because it would not work. Nigel Waters >Yep. It definatly supports Sync. I could understand if it couldn't >connect after it dials out that this might be the problem. Without the TR >light the modem won't dial out. Seems to me I need to get it to dial first. >>I'd try another modem >>just to see if the problem is the modem (or modem cfg) or somewhere else. >> If you have a UDS V3229, 3400 or 3600 around, set the modem to factory >>option set 9 and you will be all set. >I wish I did have another known good modem to test with. That's always >a favorate way of mine to isolate a problem when I can. >Thanks, >Gary Kuznitz +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
