Chuck,

I do not personally want to do this, but have a client who does since their IBM
CE walked in without any prior notification, stated he needed to do some Y2k
testing, and took down the AS400 during the middle of a very busy business day.
To make matters worse, he couldn't get it back up and had to call for support.
He then left before he had it back up stating he would be back the next week
(this was a Friday). Customer isn't happy and wants it turned off so that it
doesn't call out the CE again.

Michele,

Sounds like you got your answer but I was wondering why you would want to do
this ?
Just curious; handling this some other way ?

Chuck
