I think it started with the warrantee you say "OK" to  on the PC.
The warrantee says "If anything goes wrong,  You're to blame, not us".

If you find a problem or bug,   Don't even call the help line cause it won't

be fixed until the "NEW"  upgrade comes out(maybe),  and BTW,  you 
will have to pay for that upgrade.

"Ethics of Business" ?    is that even taught anymore?    Get the big IPO, 
Make the press announcements,  "Coming Next Year......"   

To quote Tom Waits in "Step Right Up"    "Everyone's a winner, we got
bargins
galour, That's right you too can be the proud owner of a .. the quality goes
in before
the name goes on...  We have our yearend clearance.... we got smoke damaged

I may be a bit cynical.
