  Seems to me that I read in a PTF cover letter where they enable the timemark
timeout to actually work that this thing is in effect until that telnet session
is dropped.  Therefore it would not have the desired effect on users already
connected.  

  I am only guessing that the inactivity timeout would behave the same way.
