  • Subject: SRC - A900 2000 - ALWAYS

Any ideas on how to get rid of this src code ALWAYS showing??
Here's what happened:
I ordered the 170 with the twinax option, for the express purpose of putting a
no-problems dumb terminal as the console (and for any twinax devices I may want
in the future). When I installed (V4R3 originally, I'm now on V4R4), my pc had
no place left (out of resources/IRQ's) to install the "pc as console". So I
just dropped it. Now, I'm always showing src code A900-2000
on the panel. I don't really want the PC Console option, I prefer a dumb
terminal as the console.
It's a card problem, I believe, I needed a 2xxxx verses a 9xxxx card (I don't
remember the rest).
I've talked to the gurus in Rochester, no real help.....

Any ideas from any of you IBM guys???? I'm sure I'm not the only one with this
"problem" and I'd really like my 170 to show a "normal" display.......
