What do I gain or lose by setting it to *NOWRAP? When set to *PRTWRAP, a joblog will be printed and a new one started. The printed joblog can be reviewed to find out why it became full in the first place -- LOGCLPGM set to *YES for the job description, too many "Open of file xxx was changed to SEQONLY(*YES)" messages, system errors, etc. If you set it to *NOWRAP, the job will (from the user's standpoint) inexplicably end with no audit trail provided as to why and information in the history log (if any) will be sketchy at best. A better course of action would be to determine why the joblogs are getting full and resolving the problem, IMHO... HTH, Dean Asmussen Enterprise Systems Consulting, Inc.
