>Is anyone familiar with MCH5003 'Scalar operand contains a value that
>is not valid' when running S/38 RPG programs on an AS/400?

*UPDATE* We have determined that all the programs that fail have the
attribute *UPDPASA (Update Program Automatic Storage Area). When we
re-compile them they no longer have this attribute. The CL programs,
which run fine, have *NOUPDPASA. We also found one RPG program that
ran and it had *NOUPDPASA, it was also compiled on V1R8 of CPF.

HTH - Larry
