My favorite book on this subject is an IBM redbook entitled 'Cool title about the AS/400 and the Internet'. It has a sample RPG ILE program in it. I've used it for a starting point. Although IBM is strongly encouraging us to use a third party product like the one in this email, or the one from www.pentasafe.com uucp@Uucp1.mcs.net on 05/04/99 07:15:21 PM To: cc: Subject: Message-ID: <372F7EDF.E5678BBE@patownsend.com> Date: Tue, 04 May 1999 16:12:31 -0700 From: Patrick Townsend <townsend@patownsend.com> Organization: Patrick Townsend & Associates, Inc. Check out the TCP/IP reference manual for some examples of how to do this. If I remember correctly there is a simple CL program example and a C example. Then, of course, there are vendors of software like us that have packaged solutions for FTP security.
