ISDN rates are by no means constant. In Indianapolis, with Ameritech,
it is a flat $99/month for a buisness dual-B ISDN circuit. NO useage
charges.

18months ago, they had useage charges and the same circuit would have
been many hundreds of dollars more.

At the same time, in Westfield Indiana (a 'burb of Indy..where I
live), if ISDN was even availible, it would be the many hundreds with
a per hour useage charge.

It's just like my Real Estate buddy says: Location, Location,
Location!

My ISP charges me $200/month for a dedicated dual-B (128k) connection
with 13 static IP address's. Total cost: $300. We use a CISCO 760
ISDN TA/Router that cost about $700.

What ever you use, get the router from the ISP and pay for
installation on a flat rate. And do NOT send the check till you have
been up at least a month with no problem.

Bob

James:

You only have to pay $85 to USWest? Do you have to pay hourly
charges?
