Take away ASSIST menu from their profile in the Attention Program parm. ____________________Reply Separator____________________ Subject: QSYSOPR messages Author: "Cornett; Keith" [SMTP:Keith.Cornett@entex.com] Date: 3/15/99 7:10 AM We've had an ongoing problem of users replying to QSYSOPR messages, specifically interface messages that affect critical parts of our business. The users are accessing the QSYSOPR queue through the Operational Assistant menu (ESC key), option Work with Printer Output, then option F22 (Printers). From here they select option 7 next to any printer in a "STR" status. The QSYSOPR queue is then displayed. From here anyone can respond to any outstanding messages. This is causing serious problems! Is there a PTF that can resolve this issue? We're on a 9406/310 with V3R1M0. I've checked the AS/400 Technical Support website but have been unable to find a fix for this particular problem. Is this a bug IBM is not aware of? If so, how can I go about getting this resolved? Thanks!
