Got it working ! The TCP configuration and reference book had information on how to review the flight recorders for SMTP. It was the DNS - but not exactly. DNS was working properly and resolving names correctly on the system. The original configuration of SMTP had used the direct IP of the mail router in its configuration. Apparently this is ok on V4R2 but V4R3 was attempting (I think ?) to resolve the IP address as a host name and failing. I went through the system and removed all the direct IP references and it started working. Thanks for all the help guys :) John Hall Home Sales Co. PS Is there a way to run nslookup from the 400 command line ? +--- | This is the Midrange System Mailing List! | To submit a new message, send your mail to MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com. | To subscribe to this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-SUB@midrange.com. | To unsubscribe from this list send email to MIDRANGE-L-UNSUB@midrange.com. | Questions should be directed to the list owner/operator: david@midrange.com +---
