You are correct. I got it wrong. There is only one SDS per Program and you did code it correct. One thought, I had a similar problem once due to Blocking. Please check the I/O statistics what does it show. Does the I/O statistics change with each read? Also since this looks like VARPG does the manual state any differences for the INFDS. -----Original Message----- From: owner-midrange-l@midrange.com [mailto:owner-midrange-l@midrange.com]On Behalf Of Dennis Lovelady Sent: Friday, January 01, 1999 3:40 PM To: MIDRANGE-L@midrange.com Subject: Re: Relative Record Number Hi, Russ: >You forgot to code the "S" to make the data structures Program status data >structures. > > D DB1 SDS > D DB1RRN 397 400B 0 > D DB2 SDS > D DB2RRN 397 400B 0 > >Russ Popeil >IBM Certified Specialist Well, as an IBM Certified Specialist, I guess you'd know, but I thought INFDS and PSDS were two very different things. Also, I was not aware that you could have more than one PSDS in a program. Very interesting - I'll have to try this.
