Usually the defined server is an AS/400.) it's got to be. i even checked a program we had that has a feedback, for the total records in the file, that is an rpgiv, and checked for all the things suggested. it was just like yours, except for the remote. maybe it's not passing the binary information correctly. and i was curious as to what the remote was! nj
