I have not actually programmed servlets on the AS/400. However I have
written servlets on my local PC for educational purposes. But, since the
AS/400 is, as we know, very good at this kind of thing (cf: the speed of
NetServer), and since servlets are persistent processes running in the web
server, unlike CGI processes which must be spawned as separate threads on
every invocation, I'm quite sure they will run very fast!

Once I've got around to doing this on the AS/400, I'll let the group know,
(or maybe there's someone out there who's done this already who can
comment?)
