I writing CGI in RPG and it's working great. No need for java. I have RPG
running a discussion forum inside our intranet. The key is to modularize.
I make service programs that do certain things... like underline, bold,
center, link, mailto link, etc. So, if I want to write a link that says
"Click Here!" in bold, centered and linking to www.clickhere.com, I would do
the following.

eval HTMLText = #Link(#Center(#Bold('Click Here!')):'www.clickhere.com')
eval Error = #WrtStOut(HTMLText)

Slicker than snot on a doorknob. I'm going to be doing a featur on this in
MC coming up soon.
