It's just an opinion---

Don't hope just yet. Common sense & logic may not be dead, but you better
savor what's left because *it is* on the deathbed.

(2) Everybody chimed in one way or the other regarding taxes.

Here's what to do. Forget about the issue and just enjoy life. Nothing
short of an economic or political catastrophe will change the situation,
and I personally don't want to live through such an event. There are just
too many jealous and envious people in America who would rather die than
allow their neighbor to "get ahead of me", "get rich", "drive around in a
new Accord whilst I have to buy $5 cigarettes and cheap beer", etc. Why
waste what short time you have on the Earth fighting for something that
will never happen, i.e., a flat tax?

I did my part to elect the Republicans into majority status in 1994 and
1996. Screw all politicians---they are all the same. I'm now an Independent
with no place to call home.

Shoot, it's happening---I knew I'd get depressed replying to this topic.
Let's get back to something we enjoy how about it?...Computing on the AS/400!

Sen. P/A who might retire provided I live to be 80.
