Hi nina, I can see you've had some bad experiences here. Certainly, I agree, theft of intellectual property falls under the category of dishonest. But, as a newly minted independent and former 10 year employee of a local consulting firm (a firm founded by a former consulting firm employee, and one of his clients, a startup that I once took a chance on as the first experienced programmer to come in and become immediately billable with no training), I just couldn't let that 'leopard' remark go. This is a sore spot for me as well, because I bent over backwards and went to unheard-of lengths to make sure I could leave with a clear conscience. I'm not trying to start an argument, just present a different perspective. And, I admit, stand up for myself and refuse to allow anyone to depict me as unethical, even with an oblique reference.
